Character Description:
A tall, young man, handsome, well built. A head of curly hair finely groomed to his liking. A pair of crisp green eyes look out from behind thin rimmed glasses. Standing proudly he strolls with a determination, his black, blue-trimmed Ravenclaw robes with his house insignia emblazoned on the front. Wearing fine loafers, and dress slacks, he wishes to maintain the utmost amount of class and perfection.
Personality/Beliefs Outline:
Rodger is a bright, outgoing, and eager young man. He loves to learn and create, but has no affinity for destruction (aside from the occasional prank). He strives to be perfect in everything he does and berates himself when he is not. Yet when he is, he is extremely proud of his work. Rodger is welcoming of all people, half-blood, pure-blood, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, etc. He doesn't judge based on blood status, but instead on character. Yet sometimes, he goes into a jealous streak and begins to have an unfounded hatred for someone who took something he wanted. In general, he is friendly, but sarcastic, hard working, and a little chaotic.
Background
Mother: Bianca Rigot (neƩ Biondello) - Age 40
Born in Italy into the wandmaking Biondello family. A pureblood, Bianca attended school in Italy and was poised to take over the family business when she met Travis Rigot in Venice one day. They quickly fell in love and eloped to England, where Travis was studying to become an architect. On their honeymoon, Bianca revealed she was a witch, which while at first apprehensive, Travis soon accepted, three years later they had their first child, Rodger.
Bianca now works in the Ministry of Magic's International Magical Trading Standards Body, supervising standards for wands and artwork.
Father: Travis Rigot - Age 39
A muggle, born and raised in London, Travis had a fascination with building and creating, after graduating secondary school, he studied to become an architect. While on a trip to Italy to study Venetian architecture, he met Bianca Biondello, with whom he soon fell in love, after dating for two years, they eloped and moved backed to England. On their honeymoon, Bianca revealed to him she was a witch, which, at first he was unnerved about, but was soon fascinated and accepting of.
He now works as a freelance architect based out of his home in Stratford-Upon-Avon.
Country of Origin: Born in England, in Stratford-Upon-Avon.
Heritage: Half Blood
History:
Born and raised in Stratford-Upon-Avon, Rodger was surrounded by culture since his youth. Displaying magical qualities since the age of two, his mother raised and nurtured his magical ability, while his father encouraged creativity and critical thinking. Due to his father's profession, the family would travel around the world, and see many Muggle wonders. Annually, Bianca would take Rodger to visit her family in Italy and see some of the wonders of the wizarding world. When Rodger turned seven, he began to learn the art of Wandlore from his mother, but he also showed and interest in his father's profession, so he would teach Rodger as well.
When he recieved his invitation to Hogwarts, the household was set abuzz, he was whisked away to Diagon alley, where he purchased his own wand from Ollivander (much to initial distaste of his mother, who eventually agreed her skill could not rival that of the famed wandmaker) who described his wand as "Creative, bursting with wit, good for Charms, Transfiguration, and Potions". His first three years at Hogwarts were uneventful, but fun. His fourth year things began to become stressful with the growing threat of the cult, yet he still enjoyed all of his classes. Now in his fifth year, the threat of the Cult has become a very real thing, and he tries to avoid thinking of the danger, choosing to focus on his academics and hobbies.
