Personality Outline:
Famba is a very awkward girl. She grew too quickly into her height and is very clumsy. She is internally focused, and often looses critical information in the here and now because she is too focused. Her focus often pays off on exams and work, and in delicate situations, and SOMETIMES in dueling, but not often in class and does her no favors socially. She never knows what to say. She has a cat that is probably the ONLY animal that likes her- most animals hate her on sight and she is frankly scared of them. She is normally soft spoken and kind in normal situations. Anger makes her loose focus and do poorly, while fear sharpens her focus and makes her better. She is loyal and compassionate. Not very tidy. Loves to sleep in.

History:Born to a wizard father Stewart Senwick and a beautiful dancing muggle mother Elaine, she was her father's delight and mother's shame. Lacking her mother's talent or looks, or her father's charisma, she was left mostly alone to study. Her father had met her mother on a business trip (only the best work at Vegas- or the richest!) and fell in love immediately. Her mother was attracted to his charm (the non magical kind!) and his monetary support. When they found out that Elaine was pregnant, Elaine quickly tried to convince Steward to move their permanently. In turn, he explained that his business in the UK was quite profitable and that he needed to spend considerable time there each year. The compromise they reached was 50-50- half the year they lived in the UK and half in Vegas US! Admitedly Elaine quite enjoyed having two fancy homes and the chance to build her dancing fame abroad and beyond the limits of Vegas, increasing her own value and worth.
Growing up, Famba was at first shuttled house to house with them, and later left behind at whatever house her parents WEREN'T at. When her invitation to the school arrived, her mother, while shocked to learn about the wizarding ability, was actually rather relieved to have good cause to send the awkward, embarrassing child away (and far too hopefully about using Stewart's paltry magical talents). The father promised to visit and bring Famba gifts... but he is too much in love with the mother Elaine to leave her side often. Or is it because he was such a lousy, lazy wizard and was finally able to escape the scrutiny and wizard standards?
Famba has no siblings, but she has heard that she has a wizard uncle -her father's brother- and aunt, somewhere in the wizarding world.
Famba definitely does not take after her mother's beauty or grace, and she is determined to not take after her father's lack of magical skill. After bouncing around unwanted between two worlds, she's thrilled to discover a third world in which she may belong. She is set on making herself a place in the magical world, and believes in herself. She secretly believes her father could have been a better wizard but gave up for the sake of love- something she vehemently swears to avoid before she's ready to make the sacrifice. Before then, she's going to call this school HOME.
