CELEBRITY AUTHOR MARIUS CATHERWOOD COMES TO HOGWARTS!
All time best-seller writer Marius Catherwood has applied and been accepted to teach at Hogwarts. It's the first time we've heard from this dazzling celebrity since the Catherwood-Murlock scandal and what a wonderful come back it is. Since leaving the ministry Catherwood has sought to share his knowledge with the youth of today and maybe take a step back from the stress and strain of his life before though some speculation suggests that Mr. Catherwood might be trying to escape the scandal that surrounds his family, others see it as an act of cowardice but the die-hard Catherwood fans have stayed ever supportive of their favourite writer. Lizzy Terence was on the scene for an exclusive interview Mr. Catherwood as he arrived at hogwarts for the first time since his childhood.
"Mr. Catherwood! Could you answer a few questions for us here at the prophet?!" I asked, It was so breathtaking to be in the presence of such a public figure as this.
"Of course," Mr. Catherwood boomed to the audiance that had gathered to see him in the entrance hall, oozing such natural charisma "I'm always open to talk to the Prophet!"
"Oh how wonderful... Mr. Catherwood, what made you choose to come teach at Hogwarts?"
"Well, Miss, I chose Hogwarts because I had such a wonderful history here, arguably the second best seven years of my life," He said so modestly to me. "And of course, I've amassed so much knowledge in my travels, it doesn't seem fair to keep it all to myself and not share any of it with our young wizards. These young wizards are our future!"
"Oh how generous of you. Though, would you say, Mr. Catherwood, that this is an attempt to escape the scandal that surrounds your family since the Catherwood-Murlock trials? Perhaps even restore your familys good name?" I stepped into the sticky subject of the Catherwood trials, not suprisingly there was a glimpse of discomfort in Catherwoods eyes.
"Well, miss, I feel it is not my place to comment on my younger brother's action, but-" he paused to clear his throat and gather his thoughts "know this, my brother's actions are not my own, and are extremely frowned upon by our family. I find no pity for him for what he did and he deserves the time he's earned in Azkaban, and that is all I will say on that subject,"
"Do you think you will write about your time here as a professor Mr. Catherwood?"
"Well, Lizzy, I think it would be unfair to my dedicated fans and readers to not chronicle my adventures as a professor, so keep this between us and the readers, but I think you can expect at least two books chronicling my time here."
"Oh...thats wonderful..Lastly... with all the recent stirrings in the cult and previous attacks on the school, aren't you worried about teaching here?"
Mr. Catherwood strikes a fearless pose and booms his words for all to hear, most likely settling the nerves of the poor frightened students "Of course not! I face any challenge, and knowledge...Knowledge must remain, even in times of great strife. Should danger rear it's ugly head, I shall attack it and beat it down until it is a quivering pulp, nothing shall harm these students, not while I'm around!"
The hall erupted into cheers and whistles and i decided to bring my interview to a close. "Thankyou for your time Mr. Catherwood! I know the school will be a safer place with you here!"
I later sought out Headmaster Salvador and stopped him for a few words, however he was reluctant to talk. "Headmaster, how does it feel to have Marius Catherwood, The world reveered author, here teaching in your school?"
I could see irritation in his eyes, the old man was most likely jealous of course. "Ms. Terence i can assure you that Hogwarts is not and never will be a showcase for celebrities. While Mr. Catherwood is here he will teach very much the same way all our professors do and cater to the needs of our students. I do not hold him in a higher regard than the rest of my professors because of his acomplishments, we are all equal here. Now if you'll excuse me i am a busy man.."
And with that the Headmaster asked me to leave, poor dear, most likely needed to nap. We'll be following the progress of Marius Catherwood closely as he teaches here at hogwarts and keeping you updated on any literature he might be working on!
