Pinned to the great oak door, leading into the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, was a lengthy piece of parchment. Upon stepping forward to read the notice, gleaming in bright gold, the contents read as followed:

Dueling Club Sign-Up Sheets
Attention Students (Years 2+)
Any students, who have finished their first year of Defense Against the Dark Arts, are eligible to join the Dueling Club. This club will focus on the strengths of each student, allowing them to fully learn a spell -- eventually having the capability to cast without any problems.
If there are first years who are interested in joining, you must come see me personally. We shall discuss further details and requirements needed, in order to gain permission for joining the club.
Each student must write down their name and house under their current year of school. Any and all questions may be directed to me, before and after class.
Dueling Club will begin meeting regularly after the holidays, but there shall be one meeting before. This meeting will host as a meeting and assorting of where each student stands, educationally.
