Deflating Draught- Reverses swelling caused by spells, stings or other magical causes for inflation such as the effects of the Swelling Solution.
10 grams Ginger paste
4 Crushed Arnica flowers
3 grams Ground Unicorn horn
3 tablespoons Japanese Hornet Honey
One vial of cranberry juice
Three Ashwinder egg whites
Take the ginger root and grind in to a fine paste in the mortar. Crush the arnica flowers in a seperate bowl, and add to the mortar. Grind three grams of unicorn horn in to the mixture, then put in to a standard cauldron base- 4 ounces water, 4 ounces Flubberworm mucus.
Stir counter clockwise on a low flame for a count of 5 seconds.
Let the mixture sit until the color turns green, then turn up the flame to medium and add three tablespoons of Japanese hornet honey- being mindful of leftover stingers.
Add honey to the potion, stir clockwise once, and gently drizzle the vial of cranberry juice slowly. Stir for a count of 10 seconds, turn the heat up between medium and high, and allow it to turn sun-set orange.
Don dragonhide gloves to protect against the cold solution, and carefully crack the Ashwinder eggs, then seperate the whites from the yolks, by passing the yolk from one shell half to the next. Do NOT allow any yolk in. It will make the mixture combustable.
Discard of the yolk carefully, then add the whites in to the cauldron, and remove the cauldron from the flame. Allow residual heat to continue brewing, stirring clockwise until the mixture becomes clear, with a slight yellow 'glimmer' to its color.
Bottle when cool.

Dreamless Sleep Potion is a purple medicinal potion that is used to induce dreamless sleep in the drinker and aid recuperation by speeding up the process. It also allows a drinker who has experienced sever mental trauma time to sleep without having nightmares.
**Two important notes. First, while brewing it is possible for the fumes to make the drinker fall asleep. Therefore, it is advised to wear a mask over one's face while brewing. Second, this potion in it's finished form can become addictive. It is not to be taken unless under strict medical supervision. All brews will be taken after class.**
Ingredients:
7 ounces of unicorn milk 3 grams of Lemon peel 5 drams ground manticore claw 2 toad spleens 6 chammomile leaves 6 ounces of raven blood
Turn the cauldron on between medium and high flame intensity, then add in the Unicorn milk and let it scald. Afterward, grate the Lemon peel- avoiding the pith- in to the mixture. Grind your manticore claw in to a mortar, then add in to the potion's contents.
Turn the potion's heat down slightly, and stir counterclockwise for ten seconds. Allow the color to change to robin's egg blue.
Add in two toad spleens, then chop the chamomile leaves and sprinkle them in to the cauldron. Stir three times clockwise, and carefully pour in the raven's blood. Turn the heat to it's lowest setting and stir clockwise four times, counter-clockwise seven times, and finally remove from the flames when the brew has turned purple.
*Another note: If one finds that their Unicorn milk is spoiled, even a touch, the addition of lemon juice can save the potion, though its effects won't last as long as a potion made with fresh milk.*
