The Daily Prophet - CULT ATTACKS HOGWARTS!

September 29, 2047.




Yesterday, one of the most devestating attacks in history was made on Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. 35 Aurors and a great portion of the schools staff were there on the grounds ready for the attack.The school had been informed a week prior to the attack from an outside source but the headmaster, Fallyn Salvador, chose to keep the students in the school rather than evacuating. However when the attack came, the students were lead by a boy now named as 'The Hero of Slytherin' a mr. 'Diego Watson', and all broke free from the dungeons and came to the rescue.

Fallyn was asked why the students were allowed to get involved and why they were kept in the castle. "I didn't feel safe sending them home, the cult could easily have targeted the transportation system, we don't know what their motives are. It is unfortunate the students broke free of the dungeons, but i fear had they not come to our aid, and been as informed as they were, that we might have failed... the minestry are reviewing how many enforcements we need on call, as 35 didn't quite manage it" Our reporter then asked him what the reaction of the parents had been. "Well there are owls coming in every second asking for a child to be sent home, but i must stress that without an education your children are even more vaunerable to the attacks. Hogwarts is in the middle of nowhere and very well protected, and since the attack the school will be even better protected. If they start targeting wizarding villages the worst thing would be for the children to not know how to protect themselves"

There were several cult member deaths, many of which the minestry could identify. Argon Shanks, Helmut Fitz, Johan Argus, Yannis Frank, Lia Targon, Beth Civit. Those who survived cannot be named but are now in questioning with the minestry along with one man, suspected to be a cult member and also Hogwarts History teacher, Elder Vendan. The man was missing when required to protect hogwarts and turned up towards the end of the battle in singed robes. He was arrested on the scene and is awaiting a trial with the minestry today, Minester Grom Huckleborn will be attending.

December, 2047:


Hogwarts this week suffered the loss of both the defence teacher, Mimse Rally and the late Vladimir Death. During the schools dinner just two eves ago the history teacher, Professor Death, is said to have burst in through the doors of the great hall and set alight to the tables whilst the students were sitting at them. Professor Pontin and Professor Thanasis were on the scene and had previously been putting up the anual christmas decorations. Pontin is said to have made a dive at the asailant, barely missing a killing curse before ending up on the ground, held to the man by a snake. The headmaster arrived but were then attacked by Mimse Rally who appeared on the scene.

Sadly in a desperate attempt to save her husband to be, Thanasis did kill Vladimir Death though she has forgone trial and has recieved a full aquital and charged with 'murder in self defence'. Mimse Rally still awaits trial in aid of an attack on the school and possible attempted murder of students. Professor Deaths burrial will be held sometime after christmas, the dates are not set yet.



Fallyn Padarn Salvador, the headmaster of hogwarts has resigned also today and is set to leave after christmas. The old man had a tear in his eye as he spoke to reporters; "I am very sad to be leaving this school, it has been my life for so long. I will still stand by it and do all that i can. Perhaps i will be back someday, you most certainly havent seen the last of me." though some parents may not wish to see him back, some speculate about the terrible things that have happened under his reign.

In lighter news! Leslie Brambleburr, the ministers fiance is next in line as headmistress of hogwarts! expect stricter rules, higher standards and a ministry approved curriculum. Happy christmas from the Daily Prophet.
