Nathaniel Kendrick, known as Nathan by those who can get along with him, is a Slytherin with a weird side. From a distance, there's nothing remarkable about him; average height and weight. But a closer look says otherwise: The fourth year's black hair is cropped haphazardly leaving it shaggy and short in odd places, and his brown eyes have a gleam only reserved for those classified as "crazy". His cypress wand is tucked into his cloak sleeve along with various tricks, customized for the aspiring stage magician.
Personality Outline:
Weird, artsy, and excellent at scamming and lying. Due to being a Slytherin, crazy, and well-known liar with too much time on his hands, not a lot of people want to get to know him. Other than that, he's reasonably friendly with most people, including Gryffindors. Nathan often puts personal loyalty over house loyalty, which often ends him in trouble with his own house.

Having been born into a purely magical family, Paola di Giorgio was bored of teacups that turned into mice and cuckoo clocks that complained whenever she passed by them without saying good morning. She was tired of her brothers showing up downstairs with a pop or dishes unsupportedly being washed. Paola was tired of magic.
She met Antonio at one of his shows, where he surprised her with his escapes and trickery over the stunned crowd. That's when Paola realized that she wasn't tired of magic, but of how openly magical her family was. There was no subtlety and mystery behind what they did; just a flick of a wand and things happened. So Paola ran away with the magician in need of a lovely assistant to Wales.
A few years down the road, Nathaniel Antonio Kendrick was born. Since he was always with his "magical parents", Nathan developed a knack at sleight of hand from his father which was applied towards thievery and scamming instead of magic tricks. At the age of six, he used his childish wiles to swipe the wallets of unsuspecting tourists (but was kind enough to leave their passports behind). At seven, he had the shell-and-pea scam down pat, and instead of sliding the pea into his hand, used his underdeveloped magical skills to move it from shell to shell.
At eleven, his Muggle father got the surprise of his life when an owl landed in his bacon with a letter from Hogwarts. For fifteen years, there was magic under his nose and he didn't even know it. Of course, being a "magician" himself, he was perfectly happy for his son and his relieved wife, especially now that he had a way to scheme even more money out of unsuspecting folks.
