Character Description: A youth, just leaving the awkward stages of childhood, but still far from the beginning stages of being a man. He has hair the color of wheat, eyes like a bright sunny day. With a sweet-tooth and bursting with energy, he's quite a handful. But his over-excitablility is countered with an eagerness to learn.
Personality/Beliefs Outline: Growing up so far from the Muggle world, he's extremely curious about them. He doesn't think Muggles and Muggleborns are inferior to 'purebloods'. He treats everyone the same. If you're a jerk, he won't talk to you. If you're nice, he'll smile and want to be friends, maybe catch the Quidditch game together.
He judges people after getting to know them. If someone betrays his trust, which is easily given the first time, he won't trust them a second time. He's quick witted with school work, but won't let you cheat off of him if you look over his shoulder. Though if you're having trouble with a subject, he'll be more than happy to help you out.

History: Tate was born of a forbidden union. His father's family came from very old money and much older ways, so When his father was young, he had a bout of rebellious behavior and against his family's wishes, he had a relationship with a Muggle woman. Tatton and Lise lived together happily, far from the man's parents, and even raised their child together for three years, until the baby began to make things float above his cradle and made objects turn from keys to buttons, and from flowers to pin-wheels. Not knowing her 'husband' was a wizard, Lise was shocked, and out of anger from the deception, she divorced him.
Heart broken from her supposed rejection, Tatton took his son, saying that the boy should be with 'his own kind', and returned to his parents. In effort to show his 'remorse' for his actions towards them, he did as they bade and married Isobella. Isobella disliked the baby her husband brought, and soon hired nannies to take care of him, however Tatton continued to lavish attention on his first born son.
Young Tate was inquisitive and energetic, bright, and far too silly at times, but it was part of his charm. Eventually even his paternal grandparents warmed up to him, though his step-mother remained stand-offish. When Tate was ten, while on vacation at the ocean, he helped a four year old girl, who seemed lost, find her Mummy. When his father came looking for him, Tatton I came face to face with his ex-wife, who looked far too much like little Tate and the little girl for anyone to ignore. They were forced to tell their spouses about one another, and Lise expressed her regret in not being able to see her son, and how much she wanted to get to know him. For a year after this serendipitous meeting, Tate sent and recieved letters to his Mum.
Since getting his letter to Hogwarts, he's been a good student, spending his free time watching Quidditch, collecting Chocolate Frog Cards, and reading books his mother sends him through the mail. Because of his natural healing abilities, and his mother's own line of work, he wishes to become a healer someday. Before he left home to begin his third year at Hogwarts, his father and step-mother received the news that they would be expecting another child into their family.
