In a stunning turn of events earlier this week the former Minister of Magic Grom Huckleborn has resigned. No reasons were given and the ex-minister refuses to give any statements regarding his resignation.
So, you might ask, who is taking his place? His successor was no other than Emrys Treharne, the youngest Minister for Magic that the wizarding world has seen in quite some time and a surprise choice for the post. Though the man has dedicated much of his life to the ministry over the past few years , even his supporters were shocked by his rapid rise through the ranks of the Ministry.

Minister Treharne turned up at the school and fired Headmaster Salvador. There have been mixed reactions to Salvador being fired for the second time but this time the man has not been allowed to stay in the school as a professor, although he was allowed to nominate his successor.
Despite having a deputy he nominated Marius Catherwood who has happily taken on the role of Headmaster in the school. Little has been said by the new minister thus far but we can be sure that changes are to come, we hope, good changes.
