Character Description:
Pictured: Colin Morgan
Fair skinned, with thick black hair and pale blue eyes, his appearance screams of Irish descent. Liam is tall and gangly, having recently experienced a spurt in growth.
Personality Outline:
For the first five years of his time at school, he worked hard to prove he was worthy of his House, and to better his sister so that his mother would regard him as something other than a disappointment. At sixteen, however, he has developed a rebellious streak, often times ignoring his mother's pleas to act like a proper Ravenclaw. Though he essentially thought himself into the house of the eagle to please her, he is more of a Slytherin in ideals - ambitious, cunning, and with a thirst to improve himself.
Background
Mother:
Aoife Fallon, 43. Senior Undersecretary to the Minister of Magic.
Father:
Seamus Fallon, 46, Janitor at the Ministry of Magic.
Siblings:
Teagan Doyle, 16, Ravenclaw
Country of Origin: Cork, Ireland.
Heritage:
Pureblood.
History:
Aoife Brennan met her husband, Seamus Fallon, several years into her internship at the Ministry of Magic. She, a former Ravenclaw, prefect, Head Girl, and Quidditch captain. He, a half-blood squib who had managed to scrape a job at the Ministry due to the influence of his well-to-do family. It was a shock to all when the two wed - to Seamus most of all - but Aoife became Mrs. Fallon nonetheless and would mother his two children: fraternal twins Liam and Teagan. Such a high-ranking Ministry official would not be content to sit idly by, so she would soon return to work, often leaving her children in the care of their grandparents.
As expected, the Fallon twins received their letters at the age of eleven and, after listening for the umpteenth time to their mother and the high expectations she held for them, boarded the train to Hogwarts that September. The hat would take some time to Sort Liam. Slytherin, it had told him, would be the most fitting choice for him. Painfully aware of his mother's expectations for her children, Liam coerced the hat into sorting him into her former House instead - Ravenclaw.
It would soon prove to be a struggle for the boy, who did not possess a natural talent of wit and cleverness or book smarts. Constant pressure from his mother would be the direct cause of his grades, which were passable to above average when he studied hard. It was never good enough for his mother, however, and even through his sixth year he still had to work hard to prove himself to her.
