Character Description:
As you walk into the exciting candy shop that is Honeydukes, you are met by the chime of the door and the over-forced shout of "WELCOME!". This shout belongs to none other than "Lucky", the estranged manager at Honeydukes. You see him in his usual get-up, the outfit that looks like he's part of a circus. The striped carnival hat and shirt, cargo shorts, and a lightweight cane in his left-hand, where he keeps his wand. Under his hat you notice the always-oiled, sleek, blonde hairdo that covers the top of his head. Last, but not least, you notice the wide grin on his face, hiding the personality that this man truly withdraws...
Personality/Beliefs Outline:
"Lucky" has a truly 'special' personality. On the job, he is the man of the hour. Everyone wants to be around him, even if they can see through his facade. However, off the clock, he becomes the most bitter person you can find. From the time he clocks out to when he clocks in, the only people he enjoys to socialize is, as he says, "me, myself, and I". His beliefs? Kids need to leave him alone, or he might be taking up a new hobby.

History:
Daniel was born on July 9, 2074, in Ireland. He was the second of Jennifer and Edward's four children, the last two being twins. Dan was distraught at a young age by the death of his father. He was there to witness his father, a police officer at the time, get gunned down by the common criminal. Fortunately, this criminal was convicted, but that didn't sew the hole that the experience had left in Dan's heart.
Ever since then, all through grade school, he was hit by a whirlwind of bad luck. He was unpopular, he got food poisoning all the time, and he broke his arm after tripping and falling through a two story window. His friends mockingly dubbed him the name "Lucky Dan". He decided to keep the name, and later in life he shortened it to just "Lucky". However, it was on his 11th birthday when his luck finally turned around...
On his birthday, Dan recieved a letter entailing how he had been accepted into the Wizarding School of Hogwarts. He didn't know anything about magic or wizards at all, since his family members were all muggles. Apparantly, he had a distant relative who had a hand in the First Wizarding War, but he didn't look much into that. His mother decided to let him go, saying that it would be a good 'experience'.
Dan was sorted into the Hufflepuff house, however he really never lasted that long in the school. He wasn't the perfect student, and as a result his marks weren't that good. He did make friends and have fun, but at about his 4th year, his mother decided to pull him out. Fortunately for Dan, he learned a lot more than his grades showed. He was able to defend himself in his new school on numerous occasions without drawing suspicion.
After going to Muggle college, he decided to return to the Wizarding world himself, with or without his mother's permission. He applied to work at the wizarding village of Hogsmeade, but all he got was a job at Honeydukes, the candy shop. "Children will be swarming you!" the manager said to him. Dan was forced to keep a happy face at all times, but when his shift was over, he went back to being as bitter as he could be.
