She wears a set of robes that are a mixture of browns, but mostly a medium brown that had hints of a darkened tan to them. She wears brown leather steel-toed boots, and instead of a skirt or dress, she wears jeans normally, either that or work pants. » My daughter clinging to my side

Ebony is a friendly women, she loves to help people out, despite her broken past. She still respects men, but only those who have earned her respect. Prideful, she won't back down if somebody insults her. Woman likes other women, due to her history though she is really patient. When faced with a hostile situation, she has a fight or flight reflex and more often then not, she runs. Ebony is always fair when it comes to taking away points and actually is a little on the generous side when it comes to giving them out, since she loves to see people happy.

Born into the busy town of London, Ebony was actually an unwanted child to her father, who was good with his son already. Ebony's father was a drunk. He beat her severely, sometimes it was a wonder she survived the beatings. An event at the age of 9 years old petrified the young girl and steered her away from men, forever.
The beatings continued coming until she was 18 and able to move away on her own. She was thrilled when she got her acceptance letter to Hogwarts because she saw it as an opportunity to escape from the abuse of her father for most of the year. Her father wasn't as thrilled about it and tried forbidding her from going, but she still went with her mother's help. One night, when she was 16, almost 17, it was nearing the end of summer vacation, she was out walking by herself, a man jumped her, and not able to use magic yet, she wasn't all that strong, he was able to take her. During her seventh year, she was pregnant. She has a daughter who just graduated from Hogwarts, Sky Starling, of Ravenclaw.

Ebony Starling walked into the greenhouse that the beginning levels of herbology was in, her steel-toed boots no longer heavy to her, allowing the lesbian professor to move with ease. Wearing her normal sorta tan brown robes and bright pink, fluffy earmuffs, sound canceling earmuffs as a matter of fact, around her neck she clapped her hands and quickly started placing a pair of earmuffs at every station, next to a pot with a young mandrake root in it. Ebony then walked up to the chalkboard and wrote, in cursive, Repotting Young Mandrakes, please wear your earmuffs at all times! She then smiled and sat down on the desk that sat next to it, awaiting her students to arrive.
