Personality Outline:
Talia is very sweet and gentle, like a lamb. She would never say a mean thing to anyone, even people she doesn't like--mean thoughts don't even cross her mind. Her innocence often gets in the way of her daily life, leaving her stumped by even the most simple of actions--it doesn't help that she's not very intelligent, either. Because of this, it's very easy to hurt her; she's just as frail mentally as she is physically. Also like a lamb, she's a follower, and will do anything she's told to, whether it's to do her homework or jump off a cliff. She believes leadership and authority automatically makes someone right.
Despite those flaws, she's very kind and loves helping people, and she excels at all things Charms and Potions, mostly due to her need to prove herself to her peers and professors.

Talia grew up in a poor muggle family, getting only average education in her local public school. Her parents, though discouraged by her lack of a brain, did the best they could for her. All through school she was teased and bullied for her small meals and second-hand clothes.
When she turned eleven and received the Hogwarts acceptance letter, she was quite confused. At first, her parents thought it was a joke, but it turned out not to be and they were rather relieved. At least at Hogwarts their daughter would have proper meals and a nice place to stay.
At first, Talia didn't cope well with the change of being surrounded by strangers away from her parents--especially magical strangers, who all seemed to still be better than her at everything, including living.
But through the years she learned to get used to being away from her mother and father, and learned magic, taking a shine to charms and potions especially. And though she wasn't smart, at least she tried.
