Character Description:
Short, extremely so, though this could easily be accredited to his ancestry. Laurious was a rarity, he was a half-breed. He carried the short stature, pointed ears, though his were less exaggerated, and a somewhat misshapen head that is a common goblin trait. His hair shot out from his head like thick woolly waves, giving him a constant "bed head" look, which somewhat contrasted with the clean and rather intellectual looking face below it. A pair of glasses rested atop his rather long and crooked nose.
Personality Outline:
Laurious is a very inward person, not quite the social type. The occasions he does speak up is usually done to show his rather prolific intelligence. Laurious, having been the grandson of a Goblin, has become aware of his size, or lack there of, and is quite defensive about it. Though his rather inward, he will, on othe rare occasions that he feels comfortable, speak up and actually contribute to a conversation.

Laurious was born into a rather respected family in London, though you would never hear about them in the "normal" world. His father, a rather big, gruff looking bloke, was a retired Auror who had been through his fair share of events and had now become somewhat jaded when it came to his children's achievements. His mother, the one whom Laurious gets his Goblin bloodline from, is a somewhat renown accountant for the shops on the alley. The shops seem to trust her more because she's half Goblin. They always seem to think you get the best of both worlds: Goblin smarts with money, and human social skills. His brother, who was lucky enough not to get the Goblin size, had since graduated from Hogwarts and had begun his apprenticeship with a mid-level wand maker on Diagon Alley.
By the time Laurious hit the age of five his father began teaching him some of the basics of defending himself against any evil in the world. The small training sessions were horrible on the young boys nerves, only hearing about how, around every corner, there was some evil witch or wizard that would kidnap him and use him as experiments. By the time he hit seven it was obvious he was going to take after his grandfather, Raster Milch, a Goblin who still worked at Gringotts. His father, while never physically showing his disapproval of this revelation, began to spend less and less time with the boy. Luckily Laurious had two parents and his mother began to take up the slack, raising him to be less of an Auror and be more of a thinker. He learned how to save the few coins his mother gave him a week, and soon started a nice little candy business, where he would buy cheap then sell high. Thrifty little kid.
