« Day 1 » Professor Baker gave us these pygmy puffs as pets, but an assignment. I picked out this golden one that has the same color as Joy. Pretty awesome. White playing with it at a table outside, I met some kid and his puff. Pride was getting all happy and even followed it to a bush, where they were cuddling. That is just not ok in my terms. Pride will be dealing with punishment in the Astronomy tower.
Two things I want to find out: 1) Does it bounce against walls 2) How far does it go if hit with a beater's bat?
I'm just curious.

« Day 2 » I didn't feel for punishing the young thing. I didn't even go to Hogsmeade today. Nothing wrong with that, I'll just go tomorrow. Pride is pretty cute. And smart too. It understands most of what I say and it wobbles around the common room chirping at everything and everyone - pretty sure the younger Slytherins enjoy it. Pride knows when I'm angry or irritated - which, come on, I get most angry with the younger kids - but it gets scared when it knows. Alright, I'm sick of calling it an it. I'm going to Baker tomorrow and asking what gender it is.

« Day 3 » Pride and I turned lazy today. I couldn't find Professor Baker at all, so maybe I'll try tomorrow after History of Magic. I spent majority of my day enjoying the peace of the common room as many of the students were off at Hogsmeade. I wasn't bothered by any first or second years who played with Pride. Pride enjoyed it and it was getting fed a few carrots and pieces of meat from dinner today by the kids. Pride got to meet some of the student's cats. The cats all like to chase after the wobbling (and sometimes rolling) pygmy puff. I tried to ignore my allergies of those blasted felines.

« Day 5 » After searching for Pride (after my lovely Transfiguration class), I found Pride laying in the middle of the field. It just laid there. I picked it up and it was excited to see me. Well whatever, it made me feel better after class. Pride is now sleeping on my pillow. I don't think I want to sleep with it tonight..

« Day 6 » Is it really close to a week already? Wow. Well I started giving Pride some carrots during History of Magic. Pride sure can distract me during that boring class. And my notes says it all... Ugh, I really hope we talk.

« Day 7 » Pride scared a first year girl by eating her ...yeah at night. I laughed and treated Pride to some candy. That's really it.

« Day 9 » That thing is never eating chocolate again. It did help me in a terrible situation, but... no more chocolate.

« Day 10 & 11 » The little bugger slept all day and now he's eating all the cookies my mother sent me. Ugh.
