Physical Description:
A small boy with bright hazel that would change from green to blue depending on the color of clothing he wore. He had short, unkempt blond hair with bangs brushed to the side in order to keep them from blocking his sight. He was skinny and short for his age with average looks due to sunken cheeks and larger than normal nose. There was a scarf with the colors of his house wrapped around his neck. The wizard robes were two times larger than his small frame with patches sewn to replace the tears made by its previous wearer.
Personality Outline:A complex person who has a difficult time trusting others, but is incredibly loyal and protective over those he does trust. Having endured a lot of trauma at a young age, Aron built powerful defenses under the disguise of a light-hearted jokester. He often puts others before himself, ignoring a lot of his own problems, ultimately making him hollow to his own emotions. Yet it is difficult for others to identify his pain and those who do are inevitably pushed away.
It is hard to pull Aron’s attention from subjects he is passionate about and he is driven to accomplish whatever goals he sets for himself, even if it means taking the hardest route possible. Aron’s mother often compared him to the mythical bird, Phoenix, due to his resiliency, determination, and his ability to always “Rise from his ashes”.
Having spent most of his life caretaking for his mother, Aron is determined to make a difference in others. As he learns more about the magical world, he can’t help himself but to feel a sense of fondness towards the idea of working as an Auror or Healer and is excited at the idea of, perhaps, combining the two into one.
Background
Mother: Minerva Archer –Deceased
Father:Roy Archer – 43 – Muggle Book Publisher and Author
Siblings:
Country of Origin: England
Heritage: Muggle-born
History: Aron was born May 10th, 2039, to Roy and Minerva Archer, a muggle family residing in Braxton, England. Roy was the Head Editor to A & R Book Publishers Inc. and Minerva was a nurse at St. Anthony’s hospital.
At the age of six, Minerva was diagnosed with Leukemia and was forced to resign from her position at St. Anthony’s in order to undergo chemo therapy. Prior to the diagnosis, Roy was already working over sixty hours a week and now that he was the sole income, he had to push himself beyond sixty hours. This left Aron to be his mother’s primary caretaker. He would escort his mother to and from appointments, and even went as far as pushing her in a wheel chair when she didn’t have the strength or energy to walk. He also made sure to feed her, tend to the daily chores around the house, and several other tasks that prevented him from ever going out and playing with the other children.
Despite years of chemo therapy, Minerva’s condition only worsened which made things even tenser at home. Roy was hardly ever home and had to resort to taking odd jobs on the side in order to provide a little extra income. Meanwhile, Aron was not able to attend school, having to watch his mother around the clock as she slowly began to deteriorate. Any free time Aron possessed was spent teaching himself how to read and write, determined not to let his lifestyle hinder his future.
Minerva always spoke highly of Aron’s character by complimenting his sense of optimism, selflessness, charisma, determination, and resiliency. She often compared him to the mythical bird Phoenix, stating that each time he got knocked down, he would always pick himself back up like the Phoenix rising from its own ashes.
Shortly after Aron turned nine years of age, Minerva passed away. This didn’t come as a shock to the Archers and while they grieved for their loss, Aron couldn’t help but feel a sense of relief in knowing that she wasn’t suffering anymore. Roy started working less hours, knowing that he had to be there for his son now more than ever.
A year later, Aron received a letter from “Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry” inviting him to intend their school for the next seven years to learn magic. This came as a surprise for Aron, but not so much for his father who had always suspected there was a magical world out there. With his father’s support and encouragement, Aron accepted the invitation, both excited and scared about the future placed before him.
