Character Description:
At fifteen years old, the girl stood only at 5'1. Tiny, and a bit more scrawny than she should be, she stayed relatively unknown and unseen in Hogwarts. She had fiery red hair, that had been clearly dyed the previous summer, and bright green eyes. Fair skin, with brown speckles splattered over her cheeks and arms. Hailing from Scottland, a light accent laced her tones. She was bright and witty, and had a smart mouth on her. Known to talk back, the mousey looking girl wouldn't be underestimated. She did well on exams and in her classes, and generally spent her time in the library. Upon noticing her lack of well, "social life" she's set out on making herself more known, and to get a good group of friends going. Whether it be housemates, or the fellow rivals, she seemed to be friendly enough. Dark robes covered her frame, drowning her. Her bright hair was often done up in a messy looking bun, a few stray strands falling over her ears.
Personality Outline:
Witty and smart, her brains made up for her lack of height. She often had a sarcastic comment on her, though no harm was meant. Over all, she was a quiet, but friendly female. Many times, her witty comments would be looked over from her airy voice. Tending to hide behind her studies and books, the few people that got to know her, tended to be happy they did. She was a loyal friend, and liked to brighten up people's day. She had a sense of empathy on her, and couldn't stand when people, or creatures were hurt.
Background
Mother:
Marie Lynn Sinclair, 54, Accountant
Father:
John (Jonny) Dominic Sinclair, 59, Architect
Siblings:
None~
Country of Origin:
Scottland
Heritage:
Halfblood. Father is a wizard, but has basically given up magic, and blended in with the muggle world.
History:
From the time when she was four and made William Baker down the road disappear for two days, she knew she was different. It scared her, being that she wanted nothing more to stand in. She was always average, and enjoyed it. Average brown hair, average green eyes, average freckles on everyone around town. She liked not standing out, and this little thing inside of her, did. She had gone to her parents in question, and they denied everything. Her father wished to tell her, and she saw it in his eyes; and yet, he didn't. Her magic sparked when she got angry and frustrated, and other smaller incidents had happened throughout the years.
In third grade, she became apt at studying. Her memory expanded, and she could quite easily recall lessons from three weeks prior, and able to tell all the information given. She loved to learn, and that made her stand out even more. As other girls hung out, and tried to get boys to kiss them, Kylie lived off in a fantasy world, where things were different. Where people were more like her.
And lo' and behold, the summer of her eleventh year, a letter was delivered to her. Opening it up, she was sure she was being pranked. Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry? Just the name itself was foolish! Taking it to her father, he reluctantly told her of his magical past. Instead of being frightened, and perhaps hating it, she was excited to go. She'd no longer be the odd one out, and this place would be filled with "more normal" people as she!
