Character Description:

Riiel Atkins (rai-ell), a Fair, Caramel-colored girl of 4'6". She looks on the chubby side, Hazel-brown eyes set against chest-length black hair. She seems to walk silently when not around her friends and not speak much at all during class, even when called. She tends to study by herself, mostly on the classes she knows she likes rather than the ones she knows she isn't that great at.

Personality/Beliefs Outline:

"If I study hard, I'll only get even better!" "Flying is so fun, but why must I have to be so far from the ground!?" "That water doesn't look safe to even dip my feet in!"

Those are only a few things that Riiel believes in and would most likely say, she is studious, but not all that bright. She tends to just think about herbs and gardening when she has the time for it. She tends to be very shielded to others she doesn't really know, but if they have been around her for at least fifteen minutes she, she is more likely to speak to them. When the person has known her for a little while they would probably find she is rather nice but weak-willed and tends to do as others ask, unless she can help it. They would probably also find that she can be highly paranoid at times, especially when she is alone.
Though she is not prone to being the person who is the master mind or a lackey to pulling pranks, or just up to mischief, she does appreciate it. She isn't a full 'Tattle Tale' or 'Teachers Pet' kind of student, though she likes making sure she isn't hated by the teacher either. And despite her fears, her competitiveness can take over; in fact, she can be quite envious.

History:
Not the most exciting life, Riiel was the first born child of her family at St. John's, Newfoundland. Her upbringing included her helping her mother garden when she was on her free-time from work, she going to a normal Muggle School from Kindergarten to Third Grade. Her mother had let her know that she was a wizard when she was six, but told her not to use any magic. She was teased in her school for how she talked. Once they had tried to drown her while at the beach; they even sometimes pushed her down a flight, at least one, of stairs. She begged her mom to take her away from the mean kids, and so her parents decided to move over to Holywell, Flintshire, Wales, close to where her father's family members lived. There she refused to go to any school. There she continued helping her mom garden, becoming more reclusive to people she didn't know. But at the age of 10 years and 9 months she noticed a letter in the mail that was for her, her mother had persuaded her to go to Hogwarts and let her know it was a fine school.[/center]
