Character Description: Azure eyes staring out from behind snowy bangs. The boy had taken quickly to his life as a paractioner of the magical arts. Red robes often clothed his slim form, shoulders more broad than before, but not by much. Six years at Hogwarts had brought him some decent experience, and some useful spells. Small shoulders barely supported loose fabric, long legs hiding beneath as the cloth hid his regrettably feminine frame. Pale skin was almost that of snow, unlike those of his usual heritage. This alone hinted that maybe his father was a different ethnicity. He'd accepted it though. Rarely a word left his lips, and on the rare occasion that he did show emotion, it was hardly detectable. A boy shrouded in mystery, and intelligent to boot. Something was off about the silent, the watchful, Yuse.
Personality Outline: Since the middle of Sixth year, Yuse has become more open to socializing. While this is a vast improvement over what used to be a boy against making friends, he still is rather shy in embarrassing situations, and will quickly change the subject if his personal image is at risk. He is still quick to take charge in times of combat or stress, even if it is reluctantly so.
Background
Mother: Ayane Hinamoto, 43 years, wand maker.
Father: Unknown, left when he was three.
Siblings: None
Country of Origin: Japan
Heritage: Mother claims Pureblood, but how much can be trusted of what she says, is hard to say.
History:
Yuse's childhood was relatively uneventful up until seven years old, save for the departure of his father at three years old, which, as you can imagine, left him very attached to his mother. A caring woman, if not a bit vain, she had continued caring for him. She'd raised him on the usual wizarding superstitions, from Beedle the Bard, and the like. However, he was wise enough even at a young age not to place much merit in them.
At the age of seven, his talent for magic had just begun to show itself. It started small. A couple levitating objects, unnatural flowers in the garden. It soon became more noticeable though, such as things growing in size, dogs 'unexplained' escaping from their leashes, when no one had been near to release them. It was then that Yuse's mother knew that he was in fact blessed with magical ability. Wanting the best education possible for him, it was only natural she'd moved she and him to London, so that he could go to the famous, and well-known Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, when time came, of course.
As Yuse approached the age of eleven, his body was beginning to develop. Unfortunately though, he seemed more femininely built than most boys. This earned him ridicule, and much to his displeasure, made him more of an outcast, on top of his own knowledge of what he was. It was then that he'd received the letter of admittance to Hogwarts. When the piece of parchment arrived, he was elated. "Mother! I'll actually get to go," he shouted, and she was thrilled for her son.
The train ride went as most went for first-years. It was filled with excitement, and, a bit of sadness, at the fact that he wouldn't see his mother, at least until the holidays. Upon his arrival, he was sorted into Gryffindor. His first year, he was a social butterfly, palling around with the fellow Gryffindors, until someone had commented on his physique. It was his one insecurity, the one thing that seemed to make him crumble. The rest of the year, after that, was spent with little interaction between him and others. He was still a loyal friend, to those who needed it, but that spryness, that energy, it seemed to have vanished.
He proceeded through the second through fifth year much the same. He avoided people, stuck to his studies, so much, so, it was hard to believe he wasn't in Ravenclaw. He soon excelled at charms. And why not? Charming people was one thing that would have helped him gain friends. Defense Against the Dark Arts too a close back seat, though. Arithmancy was never his strong suit though. Numbers, he hated them. Not to say he couldn't do the basic stuff, but anything advanced was beyond him.
And so, now entering his sixth year, his disposition seems quite unchanged. Perhaps something will redirect his course...
