desired position Transfiguration Professor
race Caucasian
weight&&height Five feet, six inches -- one hundred and fifty-seven pounds wand Hazel & Diricawl Feather; seven inches
patronus Antelope enjoys
i. students. - she connects to them more often than not. even the troubled ones somehow bring about a story that claudia can tell. she loves them - they give her a job, anyways. ii. long, romantic walks to the great hall. - claudia loves to eat. although, she's fairly active so most of what she eats doesn't quite show up. iii. being active - claudia is often found doing something to get her heartrate up. it's how she keeps that gorgeous figure. whether it's delivering a note to a teacher without using her patronus or an owl, she'll gladly move around until she starts to ache. iv. being outdoors. - on days where there are no classes and her lessons are all planned, she loves going out ( near ) to the lake or courtyard and just calm down with a good book. v. reading - claudia is an avid reader. shakespeare tends to stand out more in her mind, and she often quotes him. vi. jokes. - just not when they're played on her. claudia can be playful, and often tries to be to make things like learning more fun, though it doesn't always work, and to some people, her humor can be a little... off.
despises
i. being alone. - in all honesty, claudia has separation anxiety, along with fears of detachment. the only way claudia can be alone is if she has her mind busy, either in a book or on her lesson plans. ii. being ridiculed. - it generally tags along with the lack of trust, separation anxiety and fear of detachment. she's a hurt individual, though she doesn't often show it. to be made fun of in the slightest usually brings a very big blow to her. iii. large, scary animals. - she's definitely not a fan of CoMC. she's fairly timid around magical animals, and will stick to her dog, Elliot, thank you very much.
quirks
i. organization. - claudia is probably the most organized human being on the face of the planet. every lesson is planned thoroughly, her office has no sign of mess, and everything has a rightful place. it's almost OCD-worthy. ii. improvisation. - even though heavily organized, it's possible for claudia to be thrown off her game. usually, she can improvise pretty easily, which makes everything run more naturally and makes her more comedic in nature. iii. quick learner - claudia wasn't a ravenclaw for anything, booksmart, clever, and overly intelligent, it doesn't take long for her to learn her students' names, find a problem and fix it, or answer a question. iv. openminded. - she'll listen to anything anyone has to say, take it into consideration, and will gladly have a calm debate on the subject. although, she generally sticks to her beliefs and doesn't let go. in that sense, she is very strong. v. diplomatic - very much so. claudia doesn't get into fights - she gets into intelligent conversation. vi. very strong with words. - she's very eloquent when she wants to be ( mainly while teaching ) and certainly can end a conversation by simply saying 'enough'. most of claudia's strength is behind her words, and not always her magic.
flaws
i. very shy - it takes claudia a while to get used to a new class. she'll go through introductions smoothly, but generally she has to force herself to open up. everyone intimidates her before she gets to know them ( and then some people probably still intimidate her. ) ii. guys. - they're all out of her league to her. just getting an attractive man her age to look at her seems like the greatest feat. iii. childhood issues. - claudia has trusting issues, separation anxiety and a fear of detachment. she can't stand being alone unless she has something to distract her mind. otherwise, she is prone is becoming depressed after having her mind dabble in worse thoughts. iv. worrywort. - when she makes friends or becomes attached to students, she has a habit of worrying over them like a mother. she's a mother hen, and in being such, will gladly help others to make sure they do just fine. v. taken advantage of. - claudia's niceness often leaves people to take advantage of her, but she usually catches them pretty quickly. she's up for unusual detentions, too, that are quite honestly, miserable.
physical full body reference Incredibly average. She's professional, all the time, and dresses as such. Although, every now and then she'll be caught in a pair of shorts and a tanktop out in the courtyard with a good book or Shakespearean play. Though, when there's something to be done, she always looks her finest, and it generally doesn't vary. She likes her the way she is, so there's no point in changing.
mental All in all, a diehard Ravenclaw. Booksmart, witty, clever and downright intelligent, there's little that Claudia doesn't know when it comes to what she enjoys or what she's learned about throughout the ages. She's very motherly, though when annoyed or angered by a student or some mishap, she makes sure to punish, like a mother would, to make sure the behavior never happens again. She's a dreamer, though often stuck in reality with no real complaints anymore. She grew up, and left childhood behind. She has a sense of humor - to some people it's dry, and to others it's hilarious - and she enjoys showing it whenever she can. Although, when it comes to teaching, she tends to be very strict to make sure everyone learns the correct way, and there is no mercy in her classroom. She tries to avoid violence at all costs, and her ability to use words to do her bidding is astonishing. She certainly is no push-over anymore.

heritage Pureblood
the truth Claudia, the eldest daughter, was born January twenty-fourth to Mr. Daniel and Adele Williams within St. Mungo's Hospital. She was the spoiled child, forever getting whatever she wanted, whenever she wanted it. Her mother informed her of magic at a young age - giving her dreams of Hogwarts and the mystical world. Claudia had high hopes, intending to take after her Father in the Auror business within the Ministry ( where, before Mrs. Adele Williams had quit being an Auror, the two parents had met ) and to finish ths work that her father was leaving for her. She forever dreamed a Harry Potter-esque tales - stories of Dark Lords on the horizon with only one hero to save them all ( and that would be her, of course )! She told her parents that one day, she was going to get rid of Dark Magic and make the unforgivable curses obsolete, simply because there would be no more hatred in the world. Her parents smiled, laughed, and encouraged her.
When Juliet was born, Claudia was disgusted. For one, Claudia had suddenly been moved to the back burner, much less attended to than previously. She was told to take care of Juliet whenever both her working parents weren't home, and it made her hate the little wretch all the more. 'How dare she take my spot in life!' Juliet was soon ignored by Claudia as soon as the young woman began to realize magic flowed through her veins. She often showed off to Juliet who, a very annoyed two-year-old, continued to cry and whine whenever Claudia showed off her 'freak magic'. Juliet was often scolded, and inside, it made Claudia dance.
At age eleven, on her birthday, her Hogwarts letter was delivered. Claudia's parents rejoiced at this fact, assuring that the young woman's dreams would come true and that one day, she too, could be as famous as any other. Juliet was angry, and the two siblings fought, causing Juliet to rip apart Claudia's Hogwarts letter, and for Claudia's anger to get the better of her. Juliet was put in the hospital with fatal wounds thanks to Claudia's reckless magic. Her parents seemed to disown her. When Juliet was finally released from St. Mungos, she was given medicine she'd have to take her entire life in order to retain normalcy. The sisters had the biggest feud after that, and only a week later, Juliet died from neglecting to take her medicine.
Claudia was treated with the most indifference she'd ever witnessed. When it came time for her first year of Hogwarts, she was a numb being that didn't quite enjoy making friends. Her parents were so heartbroken by the dissolve of their family, they simply dropped Claudia off at King's Cross Station, told her where to go, what to do, and left her on her own. She didn't make friends for a while on the train ride, but was eventually badgered into talking. People often flocked to hear her story, but she'd often leave out more gruesome details. As soon as people started walking away when she began to tell the truth of her family, she grew even more alone.
She was sorted into Ravenclaw, where, unsurprisingly, people continued to treat her with indifference. In the absense of a social life, she turned towards studies to occupy her mind. Her favorite subject was Transfiguration - she only wished she could transform herself to blend in, to not be noticed at all and to never have to deal with reality. It remained this way through her Hogwart career, up until her third year where she, surprisingly, made friends. She began to be able to balance a social life with studies, and became more and more outgoing and more and more like her childhood self. The summer after her third year at Hogwarts, she went home, heavily apologised to her parents, who greeted her with open arms. The family slowly began to knit back together.
Before her fifth year of school, she returned home to find her mother missing and her father grieving. Unfortunately, over the year, Claudia's mother was shot by a Muggle mugger, her money stolen, and the culprit seemed to vanish in thin air. Again, she turned towards her studies to keep out the depression.
Her fifth year of school consisted of non-stop studies. She received O's on all her O.W.Ls, and continued to take Transfiguration, Charms, and DADA to the N.E.W.T. level. Receiving E's on all her N.E.W.T.s except for Transfiguration, in which she got an O, she proceeded to attempt a job claim at the Ministry. Upon gaining a job, the one her mother had, actually, she turned it down after realizing it wasn't all she thought it was. She returned to Hogwarts to speak to the Headmaster, requesting the Transfiguration Professor position.
